S&P Industrial was founded in 2014 to solve a problem the industry had accepted as unsolvable: no single suction strainer could protect pumps reliably across the full range of harsh and variable operating environments.

Starting from first principles — and initially from a shed — S&P Industrial developed and patented the Reflex Suction Strainer, a product engineered from advanced chemically formulated elastomeric polymers that perform where steel, poly, and standard plastic solutions cannot. Today, Reflex Suction Strainers are deployed across some of the world's most demanding sectors, including petrochemical processing, mining, agriculture, emergency services, military operations, marine applications, and disaster response.
